#Our guide was fabulous and the canyon is beautiful. We were disappointed that the tour was so short. We were expecting a 1 1/2 hour tour according to the description , but it was only 45 minutes, including picture taking time. This makes the tour a bit pricey.

The mother of the company in her 70's guided our tour. Amazing how she was able to easily maneuver though the canyon. She was very wise in the Navajo culture. You could see she had a strong heart for her culture. My husband and I loved her stories. Loved that this company is small and family owned. We happened to have a private tour which was awesome. Becoming off season. We loved the vision hee daughter has for the company and that the matriarch only wants to hire guides that have they heart!! ❤️ of course the canyon was beautiful. I am an amateur photographer, so I was engrossed with all the designs on the rock. We even recommended Mysical to a German couple the next day while stopping at the Navajo National Museum Monument.

Tours begin at the Taadidiin Tours base site, located off Highway 98 near Page, Arizona. After check-in, guests are transported by 4x4 vehicles to the canyon entrance, where a Navajo guide leads the group through both slot canyons. The guides not only help guests capture the best photos but also share stories about Navajo culture, geology, and the canyon’s sacred significance.

How long is the Antelope Canyon X tour, and how difficult is it?

The standard tour lasts approximately 75 to 90 minutes and covers a round-trip distance of around 1 mile. Visitors will need to walk on sand, uneven terrain, and climb a few gentle slopes. It’s considered moderately easy, but good walking shoes and light physical mobility are recommended.

Do I need to book my experience with Taadidiin Tours in advance?

Yes, advance reservations are highly recommended because Taadidiin Tours limits group sizes to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. Advance booking ensures your spot and preferred time slot.

When is the best time to visit Antelope Canyon X for photography?

The best lighting conditions occur between 10am and 1pm, when the sun is high enough to illuminate the canyon walls with golden and orange hues. While Antelope Canyon X doesn’t have the same vertical light beams as Upper Antelope Canyon, the diffused natural light creates soft, richly colored patterns that photographers love.

What should I bring on the tour?

Bring closed-toe walking shoes, a bottle of water, and a camera or smartphone. Sunscreen and a hat are recommended for the outdoor portions of the tour.

What are the fitness requirements to join the tour?

What happens in case of rain or flash flood warnings?

Safety is the top priority. Antelope Canyon X is subject to flash flooding, so Taadidiin Tours monitors weather conditions continuously. Tours may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled if there’s any risk.

Is parking available at the Taadidiin Tours check-in site?

Yes, there’s ample free parking available on-site, including spaces for RVs and tour buses. Restrooms are located at the check-in area, but not inside the canyon, so visitors are advised to use facilities before departure.

Are tours available year-round?

Yes, Taadidiin Tours operates year-round, though schedules and hours may adjust seasonally. Summer months (May to September) are the busiest, offering the most vibrant light conditions, while winter provides cooler temperatures and smaller tour groups.
