All you need to know about Antelope Canyon on a map

Did you know that Antelope Canyon is one of the most photographed natural landmarks in the world today? And it wasn’t even open to the public until the 1990s? The sacred Navajo site can still only be visited with a Navajo guide present. The sandstone that forms its walls dates back to approximately 190 million years. Erosion caused by flash floods over the past 5-6 million years is what led to the canyon’s formation. Its winding passageways, unique colors, and the beams of sunlight passing through are some of the reasons why it’s become such a popular landmark today.

The location is quite remote, so planning your trip can get a bit tiresome. Here’s a handy map with entrances to the Canyon and facilities in and around the area so that you can travel without getting lost or overwhelmed!
